Patios

The patio area is often the central focus and entertaining area of the garden, so it is important that the stone type, colour, shape, and level are well planned, to get the right feel for the area.

We offer a variety of stone, including Sandstone, Concrete, Limestone, Granite, and Porcelain.

The most popular patio stone is Indian Sandstone, which comes a variety of colours, which you can see below. Sandstone is most popular in it's 'riven' form, which means it has a rough and uneven surface, giving it a beautiful natural finish. Sandstone can also be sandblasted to give an even, flat surface, and polished to give a sheen finish.

Autumn Brown Indian Sandstone has a rich mix of subtle pastel browns, oranges, reds and creams. There is a large variety of colour within, and no two projects are the same.

Harvest Mix Indian Sandstone offers more colour accents, with some deeper reds and oranges mixed with lighter grey and buff colours, and again, no two projects are the same.

Grey Promenade is by far the most popular sandstone patio in recent years. It offers elegance throughout the seasons, and an open canvas when it comes to furnishing the area.

Porcelain paving is extremely strong and durable, and having increased in popularity over the last decade, it has become more affordable. There is a vast selection of porcelain paving available in the uk now (some examples below), giving you much more scope to create a unique space.

The Deckwood Porcelain range is designed to look like timber, using grain and knot patterns. It has a warm feel of weathered wood flooring, giving the space a more intimate feel.

Pavestone's Discovery range provides a more dramatic and open feel to your space.
